Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Visit Beijing

According to news reports, on April 17, at the invitation of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang arrived in Beijing. Three months ago, Jensen Huang stated in China that he would continue to cooperate with China.

In January this year, when the United States issued the strongest chip ban, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang came to China to attend Nvidia’s annual meeting in Shenzhen and Beijing.

According to news reports, at NVIDIA’s Spring Festival party, Jensen Huang  also personally presented certificates to NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Institute (DLI) campus ambassadors, NVIDIA’s startup acceleration program Inception, and NVIDIA’s AI Science Popularization Experiment Award winners to promote NVIDIA’s local training, development, and education projects in China and prosper China’s development ecosystem.

NVIDIA has developed rapidly in China in recent years and has recruited a large number of researchers in recent years. Jensen Huang revealed that as of now, NVIDIA has nearly 4,000 employees in China, with offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. He mentioned that in the technology industry, the general turnover rate may be around 10%, and sometimes even close to 20%. The figure for Nvidia China is even lower, at only 0.9%.

Jensen Huang  said that Nvidia mainly recruits R&D personnel in China, but another important task it does at the same time is to promote cooperation with local partners. He said that Nvidia currently has 1.5 million developers in China
